MYSTICAL POWERS painting

First off, the original image I used as reference is by . I had no part in it's creation, I just painted the damn thing.

Second, GODDAMN IT'S DONE

In celebration of receiving Scott Pilgrim vs. the World on blu-ray for Christmas I wanted to paint another Scott Pilgrim piece to hang in my home. Ever since I found Alex Ahad's fanart in the back of book 3 (go ahead and look it up, it looks even better in the palm of your hand) I've loved it and wanted a copy of it. This was before I started heavily painting so I had no idea I'd eventually do something like this.

Painted in roughly 60 hours over five weeks. I decided to keep it in black & white because I didn't want to dilute the image by trying to change it. Several shapes are slightly wrong, but it happens when transferring an image between different mediums. You'll notice the aspect ratio is also different from the original image, I had to widen it to fit my canvas size.
